BCEGI New Zealand Co., Limited signed the agreement with Tamaki Regeneration Limited, a JV company between New Zealand central government and Auckland City council, for Overlea Street Regeneration Project on 19 Oct 2018，which is the first project agreement signed by the company within New Zealand.

This project is located at a traditional residential area of Central Auckland, the largest city in New Zealand. It is 10 kilometers away from Auckland city with good infrastructure surrounded, which is less than 10 minutes' walk to schools, parks, community centers, supermarkets, bus stations, train stations, and shopping malls. Currently, due to the most houses in this area are low density single houses, which are not possible to satisfy nowadays rapid increased residential needs as a result of the rapid population increase in Auckland.

This project is planned to construct approximately 49 units of residence, which include social housing, affordable housing, housing with shared equity as well as free market housing. The total period of the project will be 3 years, which plans to be started from early 2019 and be completed in 2021.

Relying on its own strengths and supports from cooperative partners, BCEGI New Zealand Co., Limited successfully won the contract with Tamaki Regeneration Limited. This further promotes the development of BCEG in New Zealand. Meanwhile, BCEGI New Zealand Co., Limited will also closely follow up other city regeneration projects around whole New Zealand. This project also will contribute to The Belt and Road Initiative.
