  • Beijing Daxing International Airport won the 2021 FIDIC Global Engineering Project Award

Beijing Daxing International Airport, built by BCEG, won the 2021 FIDIC Global Engineering Project Award, which is known as the "Nobel Prize" in the engineering field and represents the highest level in the international engineering industry. A total of 22 projects worldwide were awarded this year, 12 of which were from China.

In the construction of Beijing Daxing International Airport, BCEG undertook the important task of the terminal finger corridors. The project has a total construction area of 300,000 square meters, including three finger corridors in the southeast, south-central and southwest with a length of 411 meters and two finger corridors in the northeast and northwest with a length of 298 meters. They scatter around with the terminal building as the center, together with the upper and lower double-deck platforms, so that passengers can go from the terminal hall along the corridors to the boarding gate, with a walking distance of no more than 600 meters and a time of no more than 8 minutes, which fully demonstrates the passenger-centered concept.
